LONGi, a leading global solar technology company, has announced the appointment of Ross Kent as the new General Manager for the UK and Ireland. This appointment marks an important step in LONGi’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the UK and Ireland, with a focus on distributed generation and C&I (commercial and industrial) business.
In his new role, Kent will be responsible for driving growth, building strong customer relationships, and introducing new module and solar technology innovations, including LONGi’s high performance back contact technology HPBC. With over 13 years of experience in the solar industry, Kent brings a wealth of commercial expertise and strategic acumen to his new position.
Previously, Kent worked at Hanwha Q Cells for more than 10 years, serving as the Head of Sales for the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia for the past four years. With his extensive experience in the industry, Kent is well-equipped to lead LONGi’s UK and Ireland organization.
