One of Bournemouth’s most established independent fitness companies has entered a new chapter, with founder Karenza Shilton announcing the rebrand of Karenza Fitness to Love My Tribe Vibe.
The transition reflects the company’s expanding mission, placing a stronger emphasis on overall wellbeing and community connection while continuing to deliver its established fitness offering.
Karenza Fitness has operated successfully for more than 12 years, building a dedicated client base through Fitness and Pilates classes over the past decade, with Yoga recently added to its schedule.
The Love My Tribe Vibe rebrand introduces a broader suite of services aimed at supporting members beyond physical training. New offerings include gut health guidance, weight loss programmes, personalised diet plans and mental wellbeing events, all intended to nurture a strong and supportive community environment.
This shift has been shaped by Karenza’s personal experiences. After moving to Dorset in 2014, she encountered significant professional challenges when the Rosemary Conley franchise she was running went into administration, resulting in the loss of her investment. During that difficult period, she witnessed the power of community support.
“I have experienced a community coming together naturally, rallying around to help me, that really impacted me and now I can do the same with Love My Tribe Vibe,” said Karenza.
The business continues to prioritise women aged over 45, while still offering Pilates, Yoga and fitness classes for men. In addition, Love My Tribe Vibe is expanding its online presence, allowing the brand to reach clients well beyond Bournemouth.
“I want to collaborate with people around me to bring retreats, talks, and create a real community,” Karenza added. “Delivering online as well as in person is a major part of our future.”
