NTT DATA Business Solutions gains trust of global SME sector through successful record sales and EBITA performance.

NTT DATA Business Solutions AG, a leading international SAP partner, has announced a record-breaking year in its 2023/24 fiscal year. The Bielefeld-based company achieved sales of EUR 1.61 billion, an increase of 13.3 percent, and exceeded the milestone of EUR 100 million in earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization (EBITA) for the first time. The company also saw strong growth in its cloud subscription sales, which increased by 42.7 percent. With these impressive results, NTT DATA Business Solutions is poised for continued success in the coming fiscal year.

Under the leadership of CEO Norbert Rotter, NTT DATA Business Solutions has seen significant growth in the past eight years. The company has nearly doubled its sales and has expanded its workforce to 15,300 employees. This growth is largely due to the company’s focus on end-to-end digital transformation processes for its more than 6,000 active customers.

“We are very pleased to have achieved our best-ever results in our 35th anniversary year,” said Norbert Rotter, CEO of NTT DATA Business Solutions AG and EVP of NTT DATA, Inc. “As part of the NTT DATA Group, we are committed to becoming a globally recognized IT service provider. Our customers value our extensive SAP expertise and our complementary offerings from ServiceNow and Microsoft. As a leading global SAP partner for the SME sector, we are the right choice for companies looking to become Intelligent Enterprises.”

NTT DATA Business Solutions also saw strong growth in its international business, with foreign sales accounting for 57.6 percent of total sales. Sales were particularly strong in Western Europe (+18.4%) and Northern and Eastern Europe (+23.9%). In its home market of Germany/Austria/Switzerland, the company also saw a double-digit increase of just over 10 percent.

The company’s success has been driven by its cloud subscription sales, which have more than doubled in the past two years. In addition, NTT DATA Business Solutions is expanding its offerings beyond its core business with SAP, with the recent acquisition of Sapphire Systems. This move positions the company as a principal provider of advanced digitalization solutions for SME customers.

Looking ahead, NTT DATA Business Solutions is optimistic about the future, with expected sales growth of up to six percent on a comparable basis. “After two record years, we don’t want to take a break,” said Jürgen Pürzer, Chief Financial Officer at NTT DATA Business Solutions AG. “We’re committed to consistently pursuing our growth and earnings targets and will continue to invest in our customers and offer a comprehensive range of services and products.”
