ONEEV Strengthens EV Ecosystem with Charging and Rental Partnerships Ahead of Plug-and-Charge Launch

ONEEV has entered new partnerships with EV charger manufacturer Easee and electric vehicle rental provider EVision Electric Vehicles, expanding its platform to cover all core stages of the EV transition — from rental and trial to home charging and nationwide public access.

Having recently secured the Brand of the Future accolade, ONEEV now offers users access to a network of more than 50,000 public chargers across the UK and Ireland, with coverage continuing to increase.

The combination of partnerships enables ONEEV to support prospective and current EV drivers more comprehensively, including those trialling electric cars before committing to purchase.

The newly extended platform incorporates:

  • Easee, a global manufacturer with over one million chargers deployed, providing smart charging options for households, apartment buildings, and commercial environments, now available for installation through the ONEEV app.
  • EVision Electric Vehicles, operating a fleet of more than 2,000 EVs nationwide, giving users the ability to rent an electric car while learning how to navigate ONEEV’s charging tools.

In preparation for industry-wide plug-and-charge capability expected in 2026, ONEEV is upgrading its system to support automatic charging authentication. At present, the platform offers verified live availability, clear tariffs, secure payments via app, auto-generated receipts, and 99.8% accurate live data reporting.

Tim Moore, co-founder of ONEEV, said: “We set out to create an app that simply works for drivers. These new partnerships and our upcoming plug-and-charge capability reflect our continued commitment to delivering the EV experience that drivers deserve.”

Co-founder Lyndon Gough commented: “2026 will be the year the EV market resets around trust, choice, and simplicity. ONEEV is going to be right at the centre of that shift, bringing drivers and charging partners the clarity and reliability the industry has been missing.”

The platform continues to operate through commercial collaborations with charge point operators throughout the region.
