Jackery, a global leader in green energy solutions, is proud to have collaborated with National Geographic Traveller and outdoor photographer Jack Atkinson to capture the rugged and diverse landscapes of the volcanic island of Tenerife. Working with Jackery, Jack was able to explore the lesser-known regions of the island, creating inspiring shots for the Capturing Tenerife campaign, all powered by the latest Jackery Explorer.
Ricky Ma, Head of EMEA for Jackery, said: “We are delighted to have collaborated with Jack. It has been great to see how he has utilised our newest Solar Generator model while capturing the beautiful landscapes of Tenerife. We hope to inspire budding photographers and travellers across Europe to embark upon their own adventures. As part of the Capturing Tenerife campaign, readers of National Geographic Traveller can receive a solar panel for free* with the purchase of an Explorer 2000 Plus power station.”
Photographer Jack Atkinson was inspired by the volcanic landscapes of Teide National Park and was able to utilise the Jackery Solar Generator to power his photography equipment and essential camping items. He said, “Having the Jackery on hand to help power not only my photography equipment but also essential camping items in the wilderness was really liberating. It allowed me to explore further than I usually would do on my own, giving extra peace of mind and also allowing me to enjoy some luxuries in the outdoors.”
Located in the Atlantic Ocean close to the northwest coast of Africa, the Canaries consist of La Palma, Lanzarote, Gran Canarias, Fuerteventura, La Gomera, and El Hierro.
