PSA Prime Marine, an award-winning UK-based yacht maintenance company, has officially launched its PrimePlus service on a global scale. The service’s first international project will take place in Antigua’s Falmouth Harbour, representing a major milestone in the company’s growth.
PrimePlus has been tasked with providing a bespoke bi-annual maintenance package for an Arcona 385 yacht. This ensures the vessel is ready for the upcoming hurricane season and in perfect condition for the sailing season that follows.
A team of two yacht maintenance experts will dedicate 10 days to delivering services such as cleaning, polishing, winch servicing, engine checks, rig inspections, and sail maintenance. This high-value project demonstrates PSA Prime Marine’s dedication to providing exceptional standards of care for luxury yachts.
The project was secured through a recommendation by a professional delivery skipper, showcasing PSA Prime Marine’s growing reputation. With previous success in regions like the Canary Islands and Scandinavia, the company is renowned for preparing vessels for diverse and demanding sailing conditions.
Co-Founder Pete Stirling said, “Taking our PrimePlus service global has always been part of our vision. We’re thrilled to begin this journey in Antigua, working on such a high-calibre project. Our team is ready to bring world-class yacht maintenance to an international audience.”
This announcement follows a successful year for the company, including a 17% increase in client numbers after their participation in the Southampton Boat Show.
PrimePlus offers a broad array of yacht maintenance services, customisable to specific needs or as an upgrade to their Prime Maintenance package. Services include deck polishing, rigging inspections, sail care, engine servicing, and bespoke options like upholstery cleaning and refit management.
