In a new film now streaming on Prime Video, viewers are taken on a journey into the world of the British Royal Family’s fascination with UFOs and the paranormal. Titled “The King of UFOs,” the film delves into the Royals’ personal experiences with the unexplainable, including a paranormal encounter the late Queen had in a flat in Kensington in 1953.
According to the film, the Queen was taken from her home in Wembley by a courier and blindfolded before being brought to a residence in Kensington. There, she was asked to conduct a seance for an unknown group. Psychic Lilian Bailey was summoned to the scene and, with her spirit guide Captain Wooton, she produced messages for the assembled guests. Once the seance was over, Bailey was told to remove her blindfold and was shocked to see the Queen, the Queen Mother, Prince Philip, and Princess Alexandria in the audience.
It is said that the Queen hoped to summon the spirit of her recently deceased father, King George VI. The details of the messages relayed to the royals are unknown, but the Queen Mother was so intrigued that she arranged further meetings.
The film also explores the many ghosts that haunt Royal palaces, particularly Windsor Castle where King Charles is said to have seen the ghosts of Anne Boleyn and Elizabeth I. In an interview with paranormal historian Richard Felix, known for his work on TV’s “Most Haunted,” details are revealed of a more recent sighting by Prince William and Princess Catherine at their home in Amner Hall, Norfolk. The couple claims to have seen the ghost of the Catholic priest Henry Walpole, who was executed in York but has since returned to his home in Norfolk.
When asked about the ghost at their home, Prince William simply replied, “It’s an old building, we have ghosts, it’s just part of life.” Felix explains that the Royal family is all at ease with the paranormal, stating that their homes are full of ghosts and they just accept it.
Director Mark Christopher Lee adds, “The royals are all at ease with the paranormal. Their homes are full of ghosts and the best part of it is they just accept it. It doesn’t bother or scare them!”
