Skylum Announces Fall Update for Award-Winning Luminar Neo Image Editing Program
New York, NY – November 27th, 2025 – Skylum, a leading innovator in photo editing software, is excited to announce the fall update for its highly acclaimed image editing program, Luminar Neo. This latest update brings a range of new features and enhancements that will further elevate the user experience.
The most notable addition to Luminar Neo is the Luminar Neo Ecosystem, which seamlessly connects all of a user’s devices into a unified editing environment. This allows creatives to easily move their photos and adjustments from mobile to desktop, making it easier to capture on the go and refine later. As part of this connected workflow, the Ecosystem also introduces Spaces – a built-in feature that allows users to publish and share curated web galleries with clients and communities without needing a website. Spaces is available to Subscribers, Ecosystem Pass owners, and 2025/2026 Upgrade Pass owners.
In addition to the Ecosystem, the fall update also brings a new professional-grade Restoration tool to Luminar Neo. This powerful tool is designed to repair cracks, stains, discoloration, and fading in old photos, making it perfect for restoring vintage or damaged images. The upcoming AI Assistant, which will offer real-time editing guidance, is not yet released but will be included in the Ecosystem Pass, 2025/2026 Upgrade Pass, Cross-device Perpetual, and Max Perpetual, and is also available to Subscribers.
All users will also receive Light Depth, a free upgrade that replaces Relight AI with enhanced control over light and exposure. This update includes movable virtual light sources in 3D space, allowing for more precise and customizable lighting adjustments.
To access the full range of features and benefits, customers can choose from several options. The €69 Ecosystem Pass unlocks the full connected experience for existing customers, while new customers can opt for the Cross-device Perpetual (€109) or Max Perpetual (€129). The 2025/2026 Upgrade Pass (€49) adds Restoration, Spaces, and the upcoming AI Assistant, and also grants access to the 2026 Spring Update for both Ecosystem Pass and Upgrade Pass owners.
