Hope Spring, a clean water advocacy charity, has asked its supporters to send Eid Adha electronic greetings cards to wish people celebrating the Islamic festival a happy Eid. The second most important festival in the Islamic calendar is expected to take place on either the 29th or 30th of June 2023.
The charity has used donations to build five boreholes and run numerous menstrual hygiene workshops in West African communities with strong clean water and sanitation challenges. They are now hoping to raise enough money through their Eid Adha fundraising campaign to build a borehole or well for one of these communities later this year.
Seun Olonade, the platform manager at Hope Spring eCards said: “We had a great Eid Fitr fundraising campaign and we are looking to top it off with an equally successful Eid Adha campaign. I urge our supporters and visitors to our website to send an Eid Adha card and make a donation, or they can send a card without making a donation via our free ecards page.”
Hope Spring hopes to raise a significant portion of the funds needed to complete their projects this year through their corporate charity ecard campaign. More information about Hope Spring Eid Adha and their projects can be found on their website and social media page.
