TEAM Concept Printing Appoints Benjamin Franklin as Spokesperson to Champion LUXfx and SOC2 Accreditation

TEAM Concept Printing has unveiled a bold and imaginative marketing strategy by appointing Benjamin Franklin, reimagined for today’s print industry, as its official spokesperson for the rest of 2025.

Franklin, hailed as “The OP (Original Printer)”, will become the face of TEAM’s promotional campaigns, front its thought leadership initiatives, and feature prominently in facility tours and brand storytelling.

“Franklin isn’t just a symbol of American ingenuity, he’s the first guy who ever looked at a blank piece of paper and said, ‘I can monetise that,’” said Tony Rouse, CEO and Founder of TEAM Concept Printing. “If he can’t sell our FSC-certified, G7 Master Printer operation with custom packaging and in-house production, no algorithm can. But let me be clear, if Ben underperforms, I’ll pull the plug. Literally. The clock is ticking…”

“Let’s be honest, he’s America’s original influencer,” said Jeff Howicz, Chief Commercial Officer at TEAM. “He practically invented the press release. So, it made sense to have him help push our newest offerings in direct mail, custom packaging, and SOC2-compliant data handling. The man discovered electricity. So he can handle a little variable data printing.”

Commenting on Franklin’s first days on the job, Howicz noted: “He thinks our two massive KOMORIs are witchcraft and he tried to revolt against our modern equipment line, but otherwise he’s fitting in just fine.”
