The 1900 Music Festival: A Display of Resistance and Rebellion.

Global Online Music Festival, 24:1900, Returns to Unite Independent Artists Across 24 Time Zones

London, UK – 21 November 2025 – Mark, co-founder of 122 Music Management, announced today that the highly anticipated 24:1900 online music festival will take place over the weekend of 6-7 December 2025. The festival, known for its innovative approach to showcasing independent artists from around the world, will feature 24 artists performing at 19:00 local time in their respective regions, spanning all 24 time zones.

This year’s edition of the festival will focus on the democratic need to resist and rebel, both culturally and politically. “Bringing together acts from around the world at a time of great polarisation is a political act in itself – especially given our platforming of both Palestinian and Taiwanese artists,” says Mark.

The festival’s mission to promote unity and diversity through music is not without its challenges. Mark explains, “At the risk of stating the obvious, finding a Palestinian act to play 24:1900 was a challenge. Before alkalsaat, we had another Palestinian artist who had to withdraw over fears that our association could cause issues at Israeli checkpoints. They feared that visits home to their families could be jeopardised, underscoring the harsh daily realities Palestinians face.”

In addition to highlighting political struggles, the festival also aims to shed light on other battles facing musicians. Recently, news broke that the former Spotify CEO had invested in an AI military defence company, leading to a growing number of mainstream artists removing their music from the platform in protest. This movement has continued with Spotify hosting ICE adverts and more.

Meanwhile, independent artists continue to face longstanding issues such as unfair compensation from streaming services and the ongoing crisis in live music with venue closures. In response, 24:1900 provides a platform for these artists to resist and challenge industry norms, reclaim their creative direction, and reach listeners who may never have encountered their work before. This also applies to the wider music community, as 24:1900 offers free advertising for all artists after each set.

Not only is 24:1900 a platform for independent artists to thrive, but it is also more accessible and environmentally sustainable. “If you want to support quality independent music and help artists resist and rebel, 24:1900 is a great place to start,” adds Mark. “Because the fight is global.”

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to celebrate and support independent artists from all corners of the world. Visit the official 24:1900 website for more information and to purchase tickets. Images and videos can also be found on the press release, available here on https://pressat.co.uk/.
