World Unites to Raise Awareness for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on World ALL Day 2025

On September 20, 2025, the world will come together to mark World ALL Day, a global initiative aimed at raising awareness for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The World ALL Day 2025 campaign, organized by Know ALL in collaboration with CancerCare, aims to improve understanding of ALL and provide support for patients and their caregivers. The campaign also seeks to unite the community and empower patients by honoring their personal experiences.

The World ALL Day 2025 campaign has three main goals: to improve understanding of ALL, to provide support for patients and caregivers, and to unite the community. These goals will be achieved through various initiatives, including an interactive webpage called “Looking up,” which is designed to help patients and caregivers learn more about ALL and its treatment options. The webpage also features personal stories from patients at different stages of their journey.

“Looking up” can be shared through word of mouth, email, or social media, and people are encouraged to use the hashtag #KnowALL and #WorldALLDay to show their support. In addition, printable journal documents are available for those who wish to reflect on their personal journey with ALL.

Christine Verini, the CEO of CancerCare, expresses her excitement for the launch of the interactive webpage, saying, “As patients, survivors, caregivers, and advocates, we share a responsibility to ensure that everyone affected by acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) has the opportunity to raise awareness and advocate for themselves. CancerCare is proud to collaborate with Know ALL, not only to raise awareness of ALL but also to launch a new interactive webpage. This resource is designed to support patients, caregivers, and families through every stage of the ALL journey: from diagnosis to survivorship. I’m looking forward to seeing how this tool is utilized and empowers the ALL community on World ALL Day.”

Sharon Cohan, a Know ALL ambassador and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Patient Advocate, also shares her thoughts on the campaign, saying, “I like the concept of looking up and we’re all under the same sky.”
