“The cast of ‘Nosebleed’ welcomes Theo Walker, adding to the dark and seductive atmosphere of the new thriller that delves into the themes of digital identity and desire.”

British actor and social media sensation Theo Walker has officially joined the cast of “Nosebleed,” a provocative new film from award-winning writer-director Gage Oxley.

The film, set to release in 2026, delves into the complexities of identity, obsession, and fantasy in a world dominated by digital surveillance and self-curation. It explores the ways in which our bodies, desires, and identities are consumed and distorted through screens, and the consequences of blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.

Walker, known for his performances in the stage adaptation of “Firebird” and the London revival of “Coming Clean,” brings both emotional depth and a modern edge to his role as Sebastian. With a massive social media following of over 1.5 million, Walker’s presence represents a generation caught between authenticity and artifice, a central theme in “Nosebleed.”

In his own words, Walker describes his character as “layered” and discusses the film’s exploration of gay shame in a culture driven by toxic masculinity. He expresses his excitement to be a part of bringing this powerful story to the screen.

Writer-director Gage Oxley adds that “Nosebleed” sheds light on the impact of online environments on our thoughts about lust, shame, and control. It examines the experience of being both a watcher and watched, and Oxley is thrilled to work with Walker, praising his ability to bring humanity and emotional depth to the character of Sebastian.

“Nosebleed” also stars previously announced actors Adam Wadsworth and Colin Grafton, with cinematography by Matthew Bates and intimacy coordination by Eleanor Hodson. The film is produced by Oxygen Films CIC in association with the Emmy-nominated York Theatre Company, with Tony Nominee Jim Head serving as Executive Producer and Jim Kierstead as Associate Producer.

The film is scheduled for production in 2026, with plans for a festival debut and wider release the same year. With its haunting visuals, subversive gaze, and raw portrayal of queer intimacy and obsession, “Nosebleed” is set to continue Oxygen Films’ commitment to pushing boundaries and telling unflinching stories about identity and the digital age.

This film is not for the faint-hearted, but for those brave enough to confront what lies beneath the surface, the experience promises to be rewarding.
