A beautiful day on the green, coupled with the generosity of golf enthusiasts, resulted in a successful Charity Golf Day for the Chilterns Neuro Centre. Held at the exclusive Stocks Golf Club on June 7th, the event raised an impressive £13,000 for the charity.
The Chilterns Neuro Centre, located in Wendover, is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by MS, Parkinson’s, and strokes. With the support of golfers, sponsors, and volunteers, the Centre was able to continue its mission of providing essential treatments and services to those in need.
After a round of golf and the tallying of scores, the team competition was won by ‘2 Gunners 2 Cannons’, led by team captain James Lawton. Lawton also took home the individual winner trophy for his impressive performance on the green.
The winners were honored at a special prize-giving ceremony following the event, which included a barbecue, raffle, and silent auction to further support the Centre.
Hannah Prentice, Community and Events Fundraising Manager at the Chilterns Neuro Centre, expressed her gratitude for the success of the event. “Events like this are crucial in helping us raise funds that provide people with life-changing treatments, therapies and support,” she said. “They are also vital for raising awareness of what we do at the Centre and the support we provide people affected by MS, Parkinson’s and strokes.”
Charlie Hicks, Managing Director at EIC Insurance, also praised the event and their involvement. “EIC was proud to support the Centre, once again, as we are always delighted to be affiliated with such an incredible charity,” he said. “As a business, it is great to support such a great event and, as a golfer, it was great to be involved in such a well-organised event.”

The Chilterns Neuro Centre is dedicated to providing treatments and services to those affected by MS, Parkinson’s, and strokes, empowering them to live life to the fullest.
