Herefordshire based charity Hope Spring eCards launched its 2025 Christmas collection on Monday, November 3. The platform, which raises funds for clean water and poverty alleviation projects, released over fifty new charity Christmas eCards in various categories.
The tradition of sending holiday cards to loved ones is a popular one, and charities like Hope Spring use it as an opportunity to fundraise. By encouraging supporters to send Christmas eCards from their platform, the charity is able to raise crucial funds for its causes.
Hope Spring has been using its eCard platform for over four years, with Christmas being its busiest period. According to platform manager Seun Olonade, the charity wanted to offer a wider selection of designs this year, resulting in the addition of around one hundred new Christmas eCards.
The creative process for the eCards involves input from volunteers, supporters, and partner designers. The new collection includes a mix of traditional illustrations, modern designs, and animated or video-based options. Olonade states that this variety reflects the changing preferences of eCard users, who favor visually engaging and mobile-friendly formats that can be easily shared.
In previous years, animated and video Christmas cards have been the most popular choices on the platform, followed by humorous eCards that can be shared through email or messaging apps. Hope Spring also has a section dedicated to small businesses looking to send Christmas eCards to their staff and customers.
Aside from their fundraising efforts, Hope Spring also promotes environmental sustainability by encouraging the public to choose eCards over paper cards. By reducing paper waste and carbon emissions, the charity aims to make a positive impact during the festive season.
The entire 2025 Christmas eCard collection can be viewed on the Hope Spring website, and more information about the charity and its work can be found on their social media pages.
