The demand for Women V Cancer’s new Kilimanjaro to Coast Adventure has resulted in the addition of a second date in 2026.

LONDON – A second departure has been added for the Women V Cancer Kilimanjaro to Coast cycling challenge after the first one sold out within weeks. The 10-day Tanzania adventure supports Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action, with the 1 and 8 October 2026 departures confirmed.

The route covers 380km in five days and showcases rural Tanzania, far from the typical tourist trail. It includes a beach celebration in Tanga and the option for participants to extend their trip with visits to Zanzibar or a climb up Kilimanjaro.

The demand for this challenge is driven by the success of past Women V Cancer events, which have raised over £22 million for charity partners through events like Ride the Night London and international challenges in Kenya, Vietnam, and India.

Megan Wackett, Fundraising Manager for Women V Cancer, says, “Our challenges are designed for women of every fitness level. From your first pedal stroke in Moshi to dipping your wheels in the Indian Ocean, you’ll discover you’re capable of more than you imagined.”

Participants have a range of motivations for taking part, from supporting loved ones to proving something to themselves, and Women V Cancer welcomes women of all ages and fitness levels to join in.

The cost of the challenge is £2,144, which includes a £100 discount available until 5 September 2025. All sponsorship funds will be split equally between Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action, the charity partners for Women V Cancer.

The challenge also offers support from a UK medical team, expert local guides, and authentic, locally-owned accommodation throughout the trip.

Dream Challenges, the parent company of Women V Cancer, has over 25 years of experience organizing charity challenge events worldwide. The company specializes in authentic, locally-focused adventures in over 30 destinations each year and works exclusively with local guides and accommodation providers. All trips are fully protected by ABTA.

Media assets are available for use by the press, including high-resolution images from previous Tanzania challenges, case studies from past participants, a full itinerary and route maps, and B-roll footage from previous events.
