FemmeHealth Alliance Launches to Foster Collaboration in Women’s Health Innovation Across Europe
Zurich, Switzerland – The FemmeHealth Alliance (FHA), a newly established Swiss non-profit association, has announced its official launch on Thursday, October 16, 2025. The alliance aims to promote collaboration in women’s health innovation across Europe by bringing together leaders from various sectors, including capital, corporate, clinical, and policy.
According to Maryann Umoren Selfe, Founder and President of FHA, Europe is home to world-class science in women’s health, but solutions often remain stuck in silos. The alliance aims to change this by creating a platform where capital, science, and policy share the same agenda. “FHA’s mission is to accelerate progress in women’s health by fostering collaboration across sectors and ensuring that scientific advances translate into accessible, real-world solutions,” added Emmanuelle Lecomte-Brisset, Legal Co-Founder of FHA.
The alliance’s launch will be marked by a virtual briefing, The Business of Women’s Health 2025: Key Trends and Insights, on October 23, 2025, from 18:00 to 19:00 CEST. This event is open to both partners and non-members. Membership in FHA will grant access to webinars, a members-only library, and invitations to in-person meetings. The alliance also welcomes partners and supporters to join its coalition dedicated to closing the gender-health equity gap.
Industry leaders have already expressed their support for the launch of FHA. Daniel Delfosse, Vice Director of Swiss Medtech, stated, “FemmeHealth Alliance serves as a vital bridge between innovators and investors. By establishing a consistent forum for collaboration, it will accelerate the growth of credible women’s-health solutions across Switzerland and Europe.”
