On November 29th, London Legal Support Trust are hosting their annual Great Legal Quiz. Last year, the event was able to raise over £5,000 with double the amount raised the previous year. The charity is hoping to surpass this year’s total.
The quiz is open to all; whether it is held in a local pub, office, or online. Questions for the quiz are written by a professional TV quiz writer and are general knowledge – not legal. The proceeds of the quiz will be donated to frontline legal advice charities to assist vulnerable people in need of specialist advice.
One third of people in England and Wales have unmet legal needs and 60% of adults reported their finances worsening in 2022. As a result, many people are turning to free local advice agencies.
Organisations that sign up to take part in the quiz will be provided with questions and answer sheets. There will be two prizes up for grabs; a trophy shield for the highest scoring team and another for the highest fundraising quiz organisers.
The Great Legal Quiz offers a fun-filled evening while helping to support those in need of specialist free legal advice.
