The Hampshire Charity Seeks Corporate Sponsors to Provide Support.

Local charity sees increased demand for services as Hampshire’s population ages

Age Concern Hampshire, a charity dedicated to supporting the older community in Hampshire, has noted a significant rise in the need for essential services as the population ages. To meet this growing demand, the organisation is actively seeking partnerships with local businesses to strengthen its initiatives.

Corporate support for Age Concern Hampshire is crucial in delivering services that improve the quality of life for older residents throughout the county. This can include financial contributions, equipment donations, and employee volunteer engagement in various activities.

“We are seeing a steady increase in the number of older individuals in Hampshire, and our services are more crucial than ever,” said Brogan Rehill, Head of Fundraising at Age Concern Hampshire. “We invite local businesses to join us in making a difference and supporting our important work.”

Recently, the charity received assistance from Coop Funeralcare in Park Gate, with their team volunteering at the Lockwood Care and Wellbeing Centre to help with gardening and garden furniture restoration. This support greatly benefited the centre’s clients. The charity has also been supported by the DEOS group, who donated IT hardware that improved operational efficiency, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Age Concern Hampshire plays a vital role in our community by ensuring older individuals receive the care and support they need,” said Rehill. “We are grateful for the support we have received so far, and we welcome contributions from businesses through various channels.”
