Coventry’s Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra is set to take audiences on a musical journey around the world this spring with their upcoming concert, ‘Music Around the World.’ The event, in support of Global Care, promises a vibrant mix of orchestral masterpieces and global favorites.
The concert will take place on Saturday, 29th March 2025 at 3pm at Queens Road Baptist Church in Coventry. Audiences of all ages can expect to be delighted by a variety of musical selections, from the haunting beauty of ‘Phantom of the Opera’ to the lively rhythms of ‘Jamaican Rumba’ and the majestic ‘Great Gate of Kiev.’
All proceeds from the concert will go towards supporting Global Care’s work with vulnerable children and families around the world. As a community-focused orchestra, it is a proud tradition for the Heart of England Co-operative Concert Orchestra to give back. In 2025, they raised nearly £4,000 for various charities such as local food banks, RNLI, Macmillan Cancer Support, and Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind.
