Francis House Children’s Hospice Announces Cardinal Partnership as Headline Sponsor for Cheshire Three Peaks Challenge 2025
Manchester, UK – Francis House Children’s Hospice is pleased to announce that Cardinal Partnership, the world’s largest employee-owned logistics business, will be the headline sponsor for its upcoming Cheshire Three Peaks Challenge. The event, which will take place on Sunday, 22 June 2025, invites participants to hike through the stunning Macclesfield countryside in support of the hospice.
The challenge offers two routes: a strenuous 13.6 mile climb with breathtaking views from the summits of Tegg’s Nose, Shutlingsloe, and Shining Tor, or a family-friendly 6.5 mile ramble through beautiful moorland and woodland. All funds raised from the event will go towards providing specialist care for children, teenagers, and young adults with life-limiting conditions at Francis House’s base in Didsbury, Manchester.
Cardinal Partnership has been a proud supporter of Francis House since 2019, and its team from the Manchester head office will once again participate in the walk to raise additional funds. A spokesperson for the Cardinal Trust Committee expressed their excitement for the partnership, stating: “We are delighted to sponsor the Cheshire Three Peaks Challenge and support Francis House Children’s Hospice. This event is a fantastic combination of adventure and charity, and we are proud to continue our support for such a worthy cause. By sponsoring this event, we hope to make a positive impact on the community and encourage our team members to get involved in giving back.”
Rachel Nasiri, Francis House fundraising officer, also expressed her gratitude for Cardinal Partnership’s sponsorship. “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributes to making the Cheshire Three Peaks Challenge such a success, including Cardinal Partnership as our headline sponsor. Their support will help cover the costs of running the event, allowing us to significantly increase our profits,” she said.
The hospice relies on charitable donations to provide its services, including respite care, sibling support, and bereavement support, to over 600 families from Greater Manchester and Cheshire. The Cheshire Three Peaks Challenge presents a unique opportunity to support this much-loved children’s charity while enjoying the great outdoors. “Both walks offer stunning views winding through the picturesque Cheshire countryside. I want to encourage anyone with a good level of fitness to join us on this challenge and register today,” Rachel added.
Registration for the event is £22 for the longer route, which also includes a packed lunch, and £15 for the shorter route. Children under 16 can participate for free and must be accompanied by an adult. Route guides, T-shirts, and tips on raising sponsorship are also provided.
