The Lacock Scarecrow Trail is set to return on the 19th and 20th of July in 2025.

Lacock, Wiltshire – The highly anticipated Lacock Scarecrow Trail is set to return this summer, bringing an exciting weekend of creativity, community spirit, and family fun to the historic village. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, July 20th, 2025.

A well-established tradition in the local calendar, the trail invites visitors to explore the picturesque village of Lacock while searching for a variety of imaginative and charming scarecrows, crafted by talented residents, schools, and groups. This year’s theme, “Wiltshire Pubs”, promises to showcase a delightful mix of country charm, clever pub names, and unique interpretations, scattered throughout the village.

Trail maps will be available on the day at designated locations throughout Lacock, with all proceeds going towards supporting Lacock C of E Primary School. In addition to the trail, there will be refreshment stands, stalls, and activities to keep the whole family entertained.

“This event is a highlight for both the school and the village,” said the organizing team. “We are always amazed by the level of creativity and effort that goes into creating the scarecrows, and even more so knowing it’s for a worthy cause.”

Whether you are a local resident or a visitor, the Lacock Scarecrow Trail guarantees two days of enchanting charm, fresh air, and plenty of smiles. So come along, follow the trail, and help us raise funds for our village school.
