The Manchester Airport podcast makes its highly anticipated return for its third season.

Manchester Airport’s popular podcast, “Manchester: Your Airport, MAN,” has returned for its third season today, with the first episode focusing on the launch of Virgin Atlantic’s new route to Las Vegas.

The podcast, hosted by former BBC Chief Sports Writer and That Peter Crouch Podcast host Tom Fordyce, has reached almost 10,000 listeners with its first two series and was even nominated for an award at the Prolific North Creative Awards.

The first episode of the new season features interviews with travel influencers Ryan and Jade, known as Live The Dash, who share their experience on the inaugural flight to Las Vegas. Other guests include Manchester Airport’s Managing Director Chris Woodroofe and Virgin Atlantic’s Head of Network John Parton.

Upcoming episodes will cover a range of topics, from tips for summer travel to updates on the airport’s transformation of Terminal Two. The podcast also plans to discuss the impact of the recent General Election on the travel and aviation industries.

The podcast, a collaboration between Manchester Airport and Manchester-based Crowd Network, aims to provide listeners with interesting content about the world of airports and aviation. It also showcases the airport’s role as a major hub for the North, offering connections to over 200 destinations.

Adam Jupp, Communications Director at Manchester Airports Group, said: “We know from the first two series how much people love to find out more about the fascinating world of airports and aviation. There are so many exciting aspects of our industry and, when combined with the affection people have for Manchester Airport, we hope we are able to provide interesting content to listeners in a format they enjoy.”

Host Tom Fordyce added, “What I love about this podcast is the chance to chat to all the fascinating people who work in and around the airport, and to share their stories with the passengers who travel through Manchester.”

The first episode of series three is now available to stream through Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Podcasts, with five more episodes to follow over the summer.
