The Schwarz Group Establishes New Division, Schwarz Digits, as Powerhouse for IT and Digitalization

The Schwarz Group, an international leader in the retail industry, is expanding its ecosystem to include the future-oriented business areas of digitalization and IT. A new division, Schwarz Digits, has been created to spearhead all matters related to IT and digitalization, consolidating cloud, cybersecurity, e-commerce, and retail media solutions under one roof.

The companies of Schwarz Group are investing roughly EUR 8 billion in strategic projects and future-oriented business areas, including digitalization and IT. Schwarz Digits will be headed by a dual leadership, consisting of the Co-CEOs Christian Müller and Rolf Schumann, and will include 7,500 employees.
