The Matthew 25 Mission, a local charity supporting vulnerable and marginalised people in Eastbourne, is set to launch the ‘Share the Love’ campaign on 29th and 30th November.
Held at the Gather Space in the Beacon Shopping Centre, the event will provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about the charity and its Share the Love 500 initiative. There will also be a range of activities for all ages, including free art and gardening sessions run by volunteers.
On the same day, the book ‘Voices From The Margins: Matthew 25 Mission Eastbourne’ will be officially released. The publication is the result of a writing residency by Paul Howard and volunteer Lesley Dawson, in collaboration with Matthew 25 Mission.
The charity also revealed that last year it provided 38,485 meals and accommodated 33,687 visits from guests.
“We receive no official funding and rely on the kindness and generosity of the Eastbourne Community,” said a spokesperson for the Matthew 25 Mission.
“Come join the fun, spread the love, and support a great cause!”
The Matthew 25 Mission is inviting the local community to attend the event and learn more about its mission. More information can be found on their social media accounts.
