ADHD 360 to Launch ‘Neurodiversity in Schools Toolkit’—A Game-Changer for Neurodiverse Student Support

ADHD 360, together with renowned educators and neurodiversity experts, is set to launch the ‘Neurodiversity in Schools Toolkit‘ on May 1, 2024. This vital resource is designed to better the educational landscape for neurodiverse students across the UK.

Based on the core belief that “Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, especially those within often neglected neurodiverse groups”, this toolkit provides educators with practical strategies and valuable insights. Utilizing cutting-edge research and the extensive experience of ADHD 360 in dealing with ADHD and autism, it equips teachers, teaching assistants, and school leaders with the necessary tools for an inclusive and comprehensive educational approach.

Leading the project, Donna Sharkey from ADHD 360, underscored the importance of the toolkit: “Neurodiversity in the classroom is increasingly recognised but not always understood. Our toolkit offers a thorough approach to help educators unlock every student’s potential.”

Phil Anderton, Managing Director at ADHD 360, reflected on the impact of the toolkit: “This toolkit is more than just resources; it’s part of a broader movement towards inclusive education, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.”

Adding his perspective, Ben Johnson, a teacher from Horncastle, shared: “This collaboration with ADHD 360 and our SEND team has been revolutionary. This toolkit will make participating schools a beacon for students with ADHD.”

ADHD 360 is encouraging all educational stakeholders in the UK to adopt this toolkit and help transform the educational experiences of neurodiverse students.
