This agreement, announced today, is an expansion of the scope of services that were initially announced in February 2024.
The new agreement will benefit ABLD’s sister company, CDL Pharma, (https://www.cdlpharma.com/), a clinical research organization (CRO) that focuses on managing biological samples in clinical research. CDL Pharma provides central laboratory services to pharmaceutical laboratories, biotech companies, CROs, and companies involved in biomedical research. CDL Pharma primarily operates as a “B2B type CRO.”
Through the use of the temperature-controlled warehouse facility located in New-Jersey, CDL Pharma, in collaboration with ABLD, will now offer dedicated logistics, biobanking, and storage services to its customers conducting clinical trials in the USA.
The execution of a new Logistics and Warehousing Agreement between AdvancedDx Biological Laboratories USA Inc. and VELA Diagnostics USA Inc. will strengthen ABLD’s logistics capacity in the USA with a new biobank facility on the East Coast. This facility will provide high-level logistics services specifically designed for the storage and transport of biological samples, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
