On 8th October, the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA) 2023 celebrated the achievements of the UK’s Pan Asian cuisine industry at a prestigious event held at the Hilton Park Lane in London. Hosted by TV presenters, Samantha Simmonds and Paul Martin, the award ceremony featured a range of live entertainment, including a magic tricks show and performances by singer Kavya Limaye and Ujaan Mukherjee.
The winners of ARTA 2023 were announced, with The Milnrow Balti Restaurant in Rochdale, Oldham taking the title of Champion of Champion. The Chequers Indian Lounge in Great Blakenham, Ipswich was awarded National Chef of the Year, while Kaani Kaana in Chelmsford won National Takeaway of the Year.
