RVA Surveyors, a business rate reduction specialist, have won the 2023 IE100 Award for their service in the UK. Hosted by International Elite, the annual event celebrates the achievements of businesses in various fields.
The company, owned and run by the Hughes family for nearly 12 years, offers support to business owners with their business rates and has a success rate of 85% in the Check Challenge Appeal, and Audit process. To date, they have saved over £350 million for their clients.
Upon receiving the award, Anthony Hughes, Managing Director at RVA Surveyors said: “It was incredible to find out that we had won this award based on the support provided to our clients. For the business community to recognise and acknowledge the work our team has delivered, and are continuing to deliver, is fantastic.”
This is the latest award the company has won in the past twelve months, having previously been recognised for their work in learning and development, business consultancy, business growth, and family business.
The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) sets the rateable value (RV) for each commercial property at each new revaluation, which in turn determines the amount of business rates liability.
