Charity sees increase in winter solstice eCards donations during the season

Hope Spring, a Herefordshire-based charity, has seen a sixty percent increase in donations linked to the sending of winter solstice cards this year. This is thanks to the release of a new set of cards which are more engaging and visually appealing, as well as a successful digital marketing campaign.

The charity’s ecard platform is their largest single fundraising effort, especially in the fourth quarter of the year. This is due to the winter solstice cards, Christmas cards and birthday cards. The money raised through these efforts has enabled Hope Spring to build water wells, boreholes and other water, sanitation and hygiene projects for communities in need in West Africa.

“The collaboration between the charity and local communities in West Africa has positively impacted the lives of more than one hundred thousand people since the charity was founded seven years ago,” said Temi Odurinde, trustee and co-designer of the solstice ecards.
