DocHQ Introduces Two New At-Home Health Test Kits: Menopause Check and MenoBalance Check

DocHQ Launches At-Home Menopause Health Checks

To mark World Menopause Month, DocHQ is pleased to announce the launch of two at-home menopause health checks: Menopause Check and MenoBalance Check. The tests form part of DocHQ’s Health Check at-home kits and are designed to empower women and provide them with knowledge and information during this life transition.

Recent government studies have revealed that 3 in 5 women aged between 45 and 55 are negatively affected at work due to menopausal symptoms, while a survey by BUPA found that 900,000 left their jobs in 2020 due to such symptoms.

The Menopause Check is a simple at-home test offering women a convenient way to determine if they are approaching or have reached the menopause by screening Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) levels. Meanwhile, the MenoBalance Check provides a detailed analysis of the patient’s hormone balance, measuring FSH, Luteinising Hormone (LH), Oestradiol, Progesterone, Testosterone and Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG).

Both tests are quick and easy to perform from the comfort of users’ own homes via a finger-prick blood sample kit and results are analysed by ISO and UKAS-accredited UK laboratories. Patients receive a GP-verified online report including guidance and next steps within days, and can also access doctor support in case of critical test results.

“We are committed to women’s health and empowering them to make informed decisions about their wellbeing,” said Madhur Srivastava, CEO of DocHQ. “The Menopause Check and the MenoBalance Check are designed to provide a clear snapshot of menopausal status and a detailed understanding of hormonal balance in order to better manage symptoms.”

The Menopause Check and MenoBalance Check are available to purchase via the dochq.co.uk website, priced at £79 and £108 respectively. They are also available to corporate companies looking to include them as part of employee benefit packages.
