Hope Spring Water, an international development charity based in Herefordshire, is counting on the Diwali celebration this year to boost its fundraising efforts in the last quarter of 2023.
The organisation has announced six new Diwali eCards on its charity eCard fundraising platform, Hope Spring charity eCards, which usually proves to be the most successful fundraiser in the fourth quarter of each year.
Diwali, also known as the Festival of Light, is one of the world’s largest celebrations and is celebrated by Hindus in India and Hindu diaspora around the world. People often get together with family and friends during the festival, and those who cannot join in person are encouraged to send Hope Spring Diwali eCards and make a donation.
The set of Diwali eCards released by the charity can be personalised with messages to the recipient, and then sent by email or shared on WhatsApp. However, Hope Spring allows people to send them for free by using a promotional code, in the spirit of the festival.
Seun Olonade, the eCards platform manager at Hope Spring, said: “We worked with a brilliant illustrator to get some unique ecards designed this year, and we hope visitors to our website will like and send them.”
