Krone, a company known for their investments, has recently announced their latest venture in acquiring the services of acoustic specialist Recalm.

Maschinenfabrik KRONE and technology company recalm have announced a new strategic partnership aimed at improving the health and comfort of drivers and reducing dangerous noise levels in the driver’s cab.

This partnership will see KRONE, a leading manufacturer of forage harvesting technology, investing in recalm through Silver Crown Capital. The company specializes in acoustic solutions and has developed a unique Active Noise Cancelling technology called ANCOR.

This cutting-edge technology will allow for a significant reduction in noise levels and provide a new level of entertainment, communication, and comfort for drivers in the cab. The ANCOR system is retrofittable and is installed on the headrest, utilizing multiple microphones and speakers.

The microphones record the ambient noise, while the speakers emit sound signals in anti-phase, canceling out low-frequency and disturbing sounds. What sets ANCOR apart is its ability to work in the free field, without the use of headphones, creating a “quiet zone” around the driver’s head.

“Through our partnership with recalm, we aim to revolutionize comfort and communication in the cab while significantly reducing the unhealthy noise levels for drivers,” says Guido Ringling, Managing Director at Silver Crown Capital.

Recalm’s mission is to transform noise into sound and improve the quality of life for individuals. The company’s ANCOR technology has been successfully implemented in heavy machinery, automobiles, and even aircraft, reducing dangerous noise levels by more than 50%.

Maschinenfabrik KRONE, a world-renowned manufacturer of forage harvesting technology, is committed to providing high-quality products. Their product portfolio includes forage harvesters and high-performance mower conditioners.

“We are excited to partner with recalm and work towards our shared goal of improving the health and well-being of drivers while also enhancing their overall experience in the cab,” says Markus Steinwendner, spokesperson for KRONE.
