Fizyr, a leading provider of vision AI for robotic systems, has partnered with Pallet Sorting Systems (PSS) and Automated Machine Systems (AMS) to announce a new machine called AI4PALLETS. The announcement was made at the LogiMAT International Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management in Stuttgart, Germany on March 20, 2024.
The AI4PALLETS machine combines Fizyr’s advanced vision AI with the expertise of PSS and AMS to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of pallet identification and sorting. This machine has been tested extensively in collaboration with a leading customer and has successfully identified and sorted 150 types of 1200 x 1000 mm (48 x 40 inch) pallets.
According to PSS Owner Roel de Vries, the AI4PALLETS machine can sort these pallets into 40 different groups based on their attributes and variables, as per the customer’s preferences. The machine can also be customized to accommodate various pallet sizes, types, and other sorting strategies.
AMS President Kris Chayer stated that the AI4PALLETS machine removes all guesswork and offers heightened accuracy and efficiency at an affordable price point. Fizyr’s vision AI uses cascade learning as a foundational element, making it a superior solution for complex logistics and supply chain tasks.
Fizyr CEO Ken Fleming highlighted the company’s commitment to providing scalable, reliable, and easy-to-use automation solutions at competitive prices. He also mentioned Fizyr’s Partner Program and certified Vision Packs for leading integrators and components manufacturers.
