Storio Group Marks New Beginnings with Comprehensive Rebrand and Executive Transition Aimed at Growth Acceleration

In a significant move, the company previously known as albelli-Photobox Group, which includes Photobox UK and Bonusprint among its brands, has rebranded itself as Storio group. This rebranding signals a notable milestone in the European personalised photo product market, highlighted by a robust annual revenue of over EUR 340M and a strong customer base of 11 million. Concurrent with this rebranding, the company has announced a key leadership change, with Alessandro Coppo succeeding Tristan Money as CEO on the 8th of February, 2024. This change at the top is central to the company’s post-merger strategic agenda, focusing on enhancing integration, driving innovation, and stimulating growth.

The unveiling of this pivotal rebranding and leadership change was celebrated at a dynamic internal launch event, which was live-streamed from Amsterdam, London, and Barcelona. This event effectively connected the company’s vast network of European offices and production sites in a collective digital celebration, heralding the start of a promising new era for Storio group, with celebrations across all its establishments.

Tristan Money, after a commendable nine-year stint that included navigating the successful merger with Photobox in January 2022, passed the leadership baton to Alessandro Coppo.

Alessandro Coppo comes to Storio group with an extensive background of over 25 years in the industry, including significant contributions at Boston Consulting Group and a notable 17-year tenure at eBay. His strategic leadership at eBay, which saw the Classifieds Group’s revenue surge from $300M to over $1B, highlights his expertise in leveraging technology to connect individuals and ensure safe, engaging commercial experiences. His wealth of experience is well-aligned with Storio group’s strategic direction and cultural ethos.

In his new capacity as CEO, Alessandro is intent on building upon the strong foundations established by Tristan and the leadership team, with the ambition of positioning Storio group as a leading and cherished brand that connects people with their most treasured moments.

The rebranding to Storio group reflects the company’s continuous evolution and its commitment to creating impactful experiences. This rebranding highlights the company’s focus on pursuing innovation and growth within its sector. At the heart of Storio group’s new identity is the purpose statement “To Make Joy Unforgettable,” reflecting its commitment to transforming customers’ significant moments into lasting memories.

Upon taking the helm, Alessandro Coppo conveyed his enthusiasm, “It’s a thrilling time to lead a company that sits at the intersection of digital and physical realms and whose products have a deep level of emotional connection with its customers. Our commitment to innovation and personal connection is unique, and I look forward to building on the strong foundation laid by Tristan and the team. Our new brand identity and values will be central to our commitment to customers and employees.”
