TEOCO’s ASSET 2023 Q2 Release Enhances 5G Network Design Efficiency through Automation

TEOCO, a leading provider of analytics, assurance, planning, and optimization solutions for communication service providers (CSPs) worldwide, has unveiled the latest version of its ASSET Suite. The ASSET 2023 Q2 release introduces significant enhancements in automation, usability, and integration, empowering mobile operators to streamline network planning processes and easily share design KPIs across their organizations.

One of the key features of the release is the ASSET 365 Predictions module, which leverages advanced automation capabilities to automate the generation of antenna-specific RF pathloss. This time-intensive task in network planning is now fully automated, enabling operators to access up-to-date prediction data whenever needed for output maps and advanced network simulations. ASSET 365 takes advantage of ASSET’s Open API based architecture, ensuring a scalable and intelligent system that delivers reliable results.

Another notable addition is the ASSET Evo module, which allows operators to extend the availability of network planning KPIs and project data beyond the planning teams. Through a simplified and intuitive web interface, various departments within the organization, including marketing and customer service, can easily access the latest network design insights.

Nishita Hathi, Product Director at TEOCO, emphasized the digital transformation enabled by the ASSET 2023 Q2 release, stating, “Service providers can now automate network planning tasks, such as pathloss predictions, reducing the time required to update network coverage maps. Additionally, by making this information readily available through a web interface, other teams gain instant access to the network design KPIs they need.”

Furthermore, the release introduces the capability to design LTE and 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) networks, along with the identification of specific cell sites contributing to electromagnetic interference. Other modules, including ASSET GEO and ASSET Simulator, have also received updates to further enhance their functionalities.
