WynterCon Returns with Exciting New Location and Town.

WynterCon, the largest comic con in Sussex, is set to return on Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, September 22nd in 2024. The highly anticipated event, now in its eleventh year, will be hosted by Promethean Promotions and will feature a new town and venue.

After successfully entertaining thousands of guests at the Winter Garden in Eastbourne for the past decade, WynterCon is moving to the stunning East Sussex College – Hastings Station Plaza for its most exciting event yet. The new venue boasts full-sized movie props, animatronics, authors and artists, vendors, cosplay competitions, gaming, photo opportunities, education workshops, and stars from stage and screen. With something for everyone in the family, WynterCon promises to be a must-attend event.

Event Founder Andy Kybett shared his excitement for the event, stating “WynterCon’s motto when we first launched in 2013 was ‘It doesn’t matter what world you come from, you’re welcome in ours.’ This message of inclusivity is just as relevant, if not more so, today. We are grateful to East Sussex College for giving us the opportunity to promote this message on a larger scale. Our team is dedicated to staging an event that will not only do justice to this magnificent venue, but also raise much-needed funds for a very worthy charity.”

More information about the event, including details about the cosplay competition and special guests, will be released on the WynterCon website and its Facebook and Instagram accounts. With the new location at the college and the interest from its students, tickets are expected to be in high demand. Early purchase is recommended to avoid disappointment. Tickets for WynterCon XI can be purchased on the event’s website.

In addition to providing entertainment for attendees, the event also aims to raise funds and awareness for Sky Creative Sussex, an award-winning Arts and Education charity that champions eco-awareness and inclusivity.
